Bizarre

Some mornings start with a conundrum 

bouncing around in my mind.

Redirecting my focus from the mental puzzle, 

and onto the One with all the answers, is critical. 

  

I quickly put on Praise music 

and fill the atmosphere with love and trust.

Then, reading God’s word draws me further away 

from the impulse to seize control of the possible

pathways yet to be explored.

My list of things to do includes bizarre considerations.

I must choose 

to be flabbergasted by the possibilities 

or by the power of Holy Spirit 

to guide me through the adventure.

Today is going to be fun.
