Last night I watched our daughter distribute birdseed.
She poured a large cupful, in a long line, on the top of her
fence.
This morning the worms were safe. The early breakfast was a
treat.
The old, split rail became a welcoming buffet.
One visitor spent their time chasing another away from the
bounty.
While the stingy wasted their time, the more thankful guests
feasted.
Freely scattered blessings cannot be hoarded.
