There was a fruit and vegetable stand that I drove past for
many summers. It was in the shade of a
beautiful, large tree in front of an old farmhouse nestled between rolling
fields. With a forlorn glance, I would
think of the hot day, the long trip home, and my “to do” list.
Eventually, I remembered to plan ahead and brought a cooler
with me. I selected wonderful blessings
and commented on the quality and quantity of their harvest. I discovered that everything had been
purchased at my hometown farmers market that morning. I had easy access all along.
God was providing. I failed to notice, partake, and enjoy.
"LORD, show me what I'm missing in this town."
