Reposition

The sunlight was hurting my eyes and causing me to squint.   

This time of year, the path of the sun sends bright, morning light 

directly onto the spot where I want to keep my chair.

One of us had to move over. 

Being a stubborn person, this irritated me.

 

I repositioned my nest.  

Moving the furniture was easier than adjusting my attitude, 

I’m not a morning person.

Silly inconveniences can only remain a problem if I refuse to be flexible 

and decide not to change.

Now, I enjoy the view 

from a slightly different perspective.
