I spied on a foolish fawn who had wandered away from the herd.
Taking her own sweet time, she nibbled on the vegetation.
She was old enough to know better. She obviously did not care.
The icy snow gave her difficulties as she journeyed back to
the trail.
She slipped and slid.
Thankfully, she did not fall.
Eventually, she rejoined the three deer that had patiently
waited for her.
Earlier, six deer had run along the pathway through the woods.
They seemed to be enjoying a romp through the countryside.
Personally, I have played all three parts.
I have been the selfish, clueless one.
I have had to wait on others when it was their turn to be
foolish.
And I have also been blessed with smart groups to run with.
