I was not lost. I
just thought I was.
The directions seemed ludicrous.
I enjoyed the twisted route, but
I assumed it was just a fun detour.
Even the small fawn I surprised,
alongside my convoluted path,
seemed to see me as a strange aberration.
I was not lost. I
reached my goal.
Then I had the extreme pleasure
of the return adventure.
The narrow, less traveled way,
definitely thrills and beacons me.
