Precious Endeavors

Nesting is a vitally important endeavor.

Creating a comfortable spot for life to happen

is the first step in changing a location into a home.

But, unpacking boxes and rearranging life is exhausting.

So, yesterday afternoon, we escaped the cardboard jungle

and treated ourselves to the luxury of lounging at the beach.

We were blessed with sunshine, warm breezes, spectacular views,

Brown Pelicans, Sanderlings, Laughing Gulls, and a few Willets.

Enjoying God’s creation is a worthy endeavor.

Little excursions can be rejuvenating.
