Waiting

There is wisdom in waiting.

Correct timing is critical.

Sometimes I get impatient.

I get in the way by trying to make things fit

before necessary adjustments have been made.

I do not appreciate a blurted punchline of a joke

before the setup has been delivered.

Yet, somehow, I desire to see a picture of what the future will look like

before I’ve experienced the growth that gets me to the correct place.

Waiting builds anticipation.

(I hate waiting….)
