Joyful prayers collided and overwhelmed my heart with peace.

A tapestry of thankfulness formed in my spirit.

My senses absorbed the beauty of God’s creation.

I’m not going to be satisfied by sitting here and only observing.

I’m going to enjoy a long walk on the beach with my Abba, Father.

Puzzles

My mind refused to focus on the task I needed completed.

So, I stared out the window and watched the clouds.

The crazy wind currents mimicked my thoughts.

The shape of a duck headed, winged horse glided across the sky.

It puffed up and twisted into the face of a cow and looked back at me.

I received the humor with a thankful smile.

Today might turn out to be an extraordinary day.

With higher expectations, I prayed over my priorities.

The power of peace has precedence over puzzles.

Supple Branches

The dream has taken root.

A strong foundation is growing.

Nutrients from the ground are being claimed.

This sapling will continue to spread out supple branches.

Our seed of Faith is on its way to developing into a place of shelter and rest.

Orchid

There is a silk orchid elegantly displayed on my windowsill.

It requires low maintenance, an occasional dusting is needed.

It is gorgeous. It is graceful. Yet, it is lifeless.

When it sits among real orchids it is able to blend in with the group.

People relying on casual, uninformed glances assume authenticity.

A faux flower finds favor in an illusion of truth.
