Simple Concept

A planted seed grows.

Future crops rely on the investment.

Each season brings the obvious results.

I’ve been enjoying provisions from the storehouse.

I want another healthy harvest of joyful peacefulness.

With a thankful heart, I will celebrate the bounty from my LORD.

Merit

I’m energized by quiet time to reflect on the goodness of God.

I’m encouraged by pondering victories and thankfulness.

It takes focused attention to highlight joy. 

Finding fault is fatally effortless.

Minds that meander among a collection of fears and disappointments

find themselves on a path that has a dangerous trajectory towards despair.

I choose to exercise freedom.

Ambled

I took a walk in the clouds.

I made a soft splash with each step.

I marveled at the intricate reflection under my feet.

I inhaled the clean, salty air and listened to the surf roar.

I remembered to worship my creator instead of His creation.

We strolled.  We talked. We spent quiet moments of reflection, together.

Inertia

There is a hole in my life. This empty place needs refilling.

Inertia is a powerful force.  By default, indecision leaves me unfulfilled.

I need to get into a Ladies Bible Study.  I need to connect with other seekers.

I grow stronger and healthier when I focus, learn, and share.

I needed to have an honest conversation with myself about filling a void.

Now I need the boldness to get up and get involved.
