Defining Moments

Some moments in life become defining

moments that will continue to speak

throughout the years. 

I don’t select them,

but I listen to the wisdom behind them.

I stand on the divide, again.

I can turn back and travel the familiar path

or I can step over the edge

and plunge into the unknown.

I will walk with you, LORD, during each adventure

and rest with you between each journey.
