God blessed me with a teachable moment.
I saw a young, frightened toddler. She was tense with fear.
Her father was showing her a little black crab.
She saw a big black bug.
She did not look to her father.
His expression shared wonder and delight.
She was freaked out and shocked
by what she thought she was seeing.
I’m so thankful that our Heavenly Father shares with us.
He loves, trains, guides, and protects us. He prepares us.
We need to look to Him for understanding and reassurance.
With experience and maturity we become more able to trust
Him.
