A pair of Yellow-bellied Sapsuckers
visited my favorite tree.
I love their name. Just saying it makes me smile.
They are truly beautiful. Seeing them was a blessing.
I know they will be seasonal friends.
I hope to see a lot of them while they are
here.
I can relate to wanting to be
where the sap still flows freely during
the colder months.
