Domino Effect

We love to play Dominoes.
We keep a set in our trunk (with paper and pen – to keep score).

At a coffee house, a fast food place, a diner, or a causal restaurant we bring them in to play while waiting for our food or lingering after a meal.  We usually receive a lot of positive comments from those who notice our quirky habit.  Little children seem to be the most surprised to see adults playing a game.  Some smiles contain a hint of longing to be able to play, too.

I’m not talking about the game where you set them up in a row to knock them all down by tipping the first one over.  Metaphorically speaking, we can do that every day by not scheduling healthy breaks into our plans.

We play a friendly game.

If you see a couple playing Dominoes and enjoying their time together,
stop by and say hello.  We would love to chat.
