I took a break and went outside to enjoy the covered patio.
The gentle rain relaxed every part of me, as I listened to the pitter-patter of the rain drops. I pretended that the gurgle of the gutters was from a fancy water feature.
Even just a snippet of time spent intentionally absorbing peace refreshes my soul.
