Verdant

I’m continually amazed by the vast array of varying shades of green.

The dew covered forest is glistening in the morning sunshine.

Balmy breezes stir the landscape and my imagination.

Refracted light and dancing shadows perform a beautiful ballet.

The songbirds seem to be unable to hold back their joy.

A crescendo of happy chatter fills the air with playfulness.

Some mornings must be celebrated and shared!

I thank God for refreshing my soul.
