Does a caterpillar ever gaze upon a butterfly
and aspire to being just like them?
Do they assume they were created to crawl forever?
What goes through a butterfly’s brain when they awaken
after going to sleep as a worn out caterpillar
from struggling to make a nice cocoon to relax in?
Do they grumble during the escape process?
By the time it takes their wings to dry,
do they know they are destined to fly?
When does their mindset change?
