There are hints of big, imminent changes
scattered throughout the forest.
I have a love/hate relationship with this time of year.
I feel betrayed by the trees
with the audacity to already have some yellow leaves.
But, they are beautiful.
And I love autumn.
I should embrace the moment and enjoy the changes.
Actually, I’m thankful that God gives us cues
of changes of season.
I need them.
I’m in a time of transformation.
Gratefully, it did not sneak up on me.
I will embrace the moment and enjoy the changes.
