A young doe stepped out of the forest
and into the edge of the clearing.
She feasted on the dew laden pasture,
while remaining vigilantly attentive.
Sensing danger, she bolted and disappeared
back into the thick, camouflaging foliage.
Instinctual wisdom is a gift from God.
Freedom to enjoy life requires alertness.
